I gotta stop h8ing on Palin and McCain. There are Americans who believe they're the best choice for the top office. These voters identify with their platform of honesty and determination. And unfortunately, some McCain supporters are now being attacked for their beliefs, as evidenced HERE.
Wait a second. Was that a backwards B on her cheek? An update on the story: Say it isn't so?
She doesn't remember what happened? Before or after the 6'4" black man jumped her at the ATM, after seeing her bumper sticker? That sounds like a lot of detail recollection to me. And I can see how her false report wasn't racially motivated. It's not like she said an injun tried to scalp her outside of a casino. She can't remember the past and the McCain/Palin ticket can't either. It's almost poetic symbolism.
In a nutshell, I think it's important I keep h8ting on Palin and McCain. Because really, their supporters are dumbasses, plain and simple. Emphasis on simple. An Obama fake victim would've carved a J on her tits. Not only would that have taken the drawing-it-backwards-in-a-mirror issue out of the scam, but it would've shown her commitment, dedication and slutiness for the Obama platform. Oh, you know us Obama supporters get freaky deaky.
Damn, I should've sold some "Flash 4 Obama" t-shirts on Cafe Press. You know that shit would've been gold.

Is your life better than it was 8 years ago?
It's peculiar that McCain and Palin aren't familiar with the Bush doctrine because they're platform is essentially based on it. If you want corporate CEO's to keep getting richer while the average person gets unemployed, un-insured and un-housed, vote McCain/Palin. It's your conscience that has to deal with it.

(BTW, if you voted for Bush in the past 2 elections, how'd that work out for you? Is your life better now than 8 years ago? This is the question people should be asking themselves.)
In the two most recent domestic financial crises in our generation (the S&L crisis in 1989, and today's), both were caused by banking deregulation. Both wrecked the housing market. Surprise, surprise: guess who's knee deep in prompting deregulation for his silver spoon buddies? McCain backed deregulation both times. He was "Mr. Deregulation" for CEO's and banks right up until August 2008.
Check it out here: McCain: good for war, bad for economy!
In addition to McCain's close kickback ties with Charles Keating in the Savings & Loan scandal, McCain's campaign co-chair lobbied for the latest deregulating that prompted today's financial crisis:

In addition to McCain's close kickback ties with Charles Keating in the Savings & Loan scandal, McCain's campaign co-chair lobbied for the latest deregulating that prompted today's financial crisis:
The general co-chairman of John McCain’s presidential campaign, former Sen. Phil Gramm (R-Texas), led the charge in 1999 to repeal a Depression-era banking regulation law.
Gramm’s role in the swift and dramatic recent restructuring of the nation’s investment houses and practices didn’t stop there. A year after the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act repealed the old regulations, Swiss Bank UBS gobbled [merged with] up brokerage house Paine Weber. Two years later, Gramm settled in as a vice chairman of UBS’s new investment banking arm.
Later, he became a major player in its government affairs operation. According to federal lobbying disclosure records, Gramm lobbied Congress, the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department about banking and mortgage issues in 2005 and 2006. During those years, the mortgage industry pressed Congress to roll back strong state rules that sought to stem the rise of predatory tactics used by lenders and brokers to place homeowners in high-cost mortgages.
For his work, Gramm and two other lobbyists collected $750,000 in fees from UBS’s American subsidiary. In the past year, UBS has written down more than $18 billion in exposure to subprime loans and other risky securities and is considering cutting as many as 8,000 jobs.
God Bless War.
We may not have given Iraq a complete democracy, but we definitely gave them wealth. Why are we still in Iraq again? Why can't they rebuild themselves with their own money and soldiers?
Iraq Better Off
To vote for McCain in the next election, is a direct thumbs up to continuing an unnecessary and unwarranted war. And a vote to spin us into further economic crisis. Would the US be hurting so bad economically if we hadn't spent $586 billion dollars on the war to date?
Iraq Better Off
Apparently immune to all the [economic] turbulence was Iraq . The government has little if any investments in the institutions affected by the crisis and a barely functioning stock market. Most Iraqis keep their money in their homes rather than trust banks.
"We don't believe it will affect our bank balance," said Minister of Industry Fawzi Hariri . "In the short term we'll be one of the least affected nations."
The Iraqi government has more than $25 billion in cash reserves. Even with oil prices dropping below $90 a barrel, the Iraqis forecast oil revenues to be in the neighborhood of $80 billion .

Soldier running from a fight?
In all honesty, McCain being concerned about the economy is admirable and it is something that requires quick action/attention. However, McCain suspending his campaign worries me for 2 reasons:
1. He can't multi-task? Assuming he's not a secret financial expert doing the actual number crunching to calculate the liquidity in the markets, he can't vote on a bill AND work on his lobby to be the Leader of the Free World? I didn't realize casting a vote is so difficult. (Election Day should be a holiday for all of us then, right?!)
2. Isn't the point of a running mate the fact that you need a right-hand person to help burden the load? A back-up, in essence? Why doesn't McCain send Sarah Palin to Washington, since she's so good in fiscal matters? Or better yet, push back the Prez debates and have the VP's debate tomorrow night?
I'm hoping McCain is suspending his campaign for the right reasons and not for political reasons. Let's be realisitic: the most successful part of mcCain's campaign is to reel-in corporate spending and reducing taxes. Guess what? A $700 billion bailout is protecting CEO's who mismanaged corporate spending and will increase taxes. McCain suspending his campaign: addressing the economy issue or running from it? You decide.
McCain Suspense!
Obama to McCain: Oh no you didn't?!
